Welcome to today's episode of The Freedom Sisters Podcast. Being intentional with your spiritual life means making a conscious effort to deepen your relationship with God, to seek His will, and to follow His guidance in your daily life.
This involves spending time in prayer, reading the Bible, attending church, serving others, and seeking the counsel of wise and mature Christians.
By being intentional with your spiritual life, you can develop a strong foundation of faith and wisdom that can guide you through life's challenges and opportunities.
Esther's preparation for the banquet was a sign of her intentionality and faith in God's plan for her life. She knew that she was called to be queen "for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14), and she was willing to risk her life to fulfill that calling.
Esther's preparation for the banquet also showed her respect for the king and her desire to honor him. She did not know if the king would summon her or kill her, but she was willing to take that risk and to present herself in the best possible light.
Like Esther, we need to be prepared for God's call on our lives, even if we don't know what that call will be or when it will come.
This means being open to new experiences, developing our skills and talents, and building strong relationships with others. It also means being willing to take risks and to step out of our comfort zones when God calls us to do so.
By being prepared for God's call, we can seize the opportunities that He presents to us and use our gifts and talents to serve Him and others.
