The European Countryside Massacre: A Full Story
Recounts the "European Countryside Massacre", a 2022 criminal case in Egypt. Five family members—a grandfather, his two daughters, and two grandchildren—were brutally murdered on a farm in Sheikh Zayed, discovered by the grandfather’s son. The crime scene indicated an attempted assault on one of the daughters, leading investigators to two suspects. The primary perpetrator, Atef Mahmoud Al-Saidi, a friend and tenant of the family patriarch, confessed to the murders, motivated by revenge after his marriage proposal to the assaulted daughter was rejected. Al-Saidi sedated the family before committing the killings and was subsequently sentenced to execution in January 2023.
