Rivian and Lucid are on track to go bankrupt and are desperately pivoting to cheaper vehicles to save their business. Even legacy automakers like Ford are starting to pull back on EVs, but what happened? Weren’t EVs supposed to be the future? Well, EVs are still definitely the future but the transition is not turning out to be nearly as fast as many EV enthusiasts expected. The reality is that a lot of people still prefer gas cars. Even people who own EVs like keeping around a gas vehicle as well. This video explains the various challenges EV makers are facing and the future of the EV market.
