On today’s episode of the Evangelical Anglican, we’re starting a new series walking through the book of Acts. What is the purpose of the church? What’s the message of Christianity? The disciples thought it was a physical manifestation of God’s kingdom on earth, but Jesus, as he had done constantly during his earthly ministry, reminded them that this was about far more than just Israel, this was about getting the message of God’s mercy to the entire world.
