The Evangelical church is a serious problem and threat to democracy.  A complete overhaul is needed within this branch of Christianity.  In fact it is not even Christian.  The doctrines and dogma of Evangelicals are not in line with the biblical text and provide serious hurt and as we have seen civil unrest within its ranks.  We are facing a critical time in which this brand of Christianity must be eliminated and or dramatically transformed.  Christianity has not been the faith of Jesus since the sell out to Rome.  Since Roman Christianity there has only been restriction of the people and a desire to conquer the world in the name of Christ killing untold millions.   The recent events demand a very deep look into the minds of Evangelicals and hopefully some self examinations by members and maybe a chance to be a church in which the peace and love of Christ flows rather than destruction and death.
