As the party goes deeper into the temple of a long-since-gone lich, they encounter new horrors from the reign of the cult that worshipped him. They make their way into an odd chamber with a path encircling a large boulder and leading to a dark staff that appears to be filled with necromantic magic. The group soon finds out that this staff is not meant to be trifled with and that they aren't the only ones in search of it and its power.
