A peasant woman, Beatha, tells the party that children are disappearing from all over Midreach, and that includes Duke Polton's daughter. He has summoned any who will help, promising a rich reward for her safe return. Setting out in search of the missing children, the party encounters more than one unexpected thing in the woods.
