Still dealing with the ramifications from the previous night, the Folly take the morning to plan their visit to the temple of Chaldrin, the god Stoic worships and serves, and set off. The temple produces more tense moments as the necromantic forces Stoic has been unintentionally dabbling in are brought out by the priest, Octo. After some uneasy conversation an uneasy alliance is formed with the Octo agreeing to escort the group to the archpriest; the same archpriest whom the party has been contracted, quite literally, to eliminate, unbeknownst to Octo.
