There are symbolic references in the Scriptures that serve as lessons for our relationship with God, His true leaders, other Christians, and the unsaved.  God also uses our earthly relationships to help us understand how we should relate to Him.  His holy will must be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Our heavenly citizenship should supersede all, and there should be evidence in our testimony that we diligently seek to please God in all of our relationships. Others should recognize the glory of God shining through us.
