There were a lot of people that didn’t celebrate Juneteenth until 2020. Mattie Holloway, an NC native, was one of them. After the murder of George Floyd last year, Holloway learned more about Juneteenth and celebrated it for the first time. She was curious about how her city, Wilmington, was planning to celebrate the holiday. Hear her share what she found in this podcast.
