In this sermon we continue in our study in the gospel of Matthew. Matthew presents five prophecies that Jesus fulfills in the early years of his life and Matthew draws from themes and prophecies from the Old Testament to show us how Jesus is truly the promised King of Israel. In this sermon we consider the final three prophetic fulfillments: the flight to Egypt, the death of children in Bethlehem and the return of Jesus to Nazareth.
