There are many various reasons why expats give up on their ‘Plan B”. Funny how so many people in that position tell white lies to hide their real reasons for giving up. Returning to Cleveland, Jersey or Milwaukee is an admission of failure and unfortunately one will have to eventually face the friends and family who said "I told ya so". Soooo... since one out of 4 people return to the states or Canada within the first 2 or 3 years upon arrival in Latin America, it’s a subject we are forced to spend some time discussing.
