Dr Ann-Marie Hayes is a Paediatric Specialist Registrar currently working in Neonatology in the University Maternity Hospital, Limerick. She talks with Siobhan Creaton about why, in light of ongoing government formation talks and during the reopening of Ireland following the Covid-19 pandemic, the needs of children shouldn't be forgotten. Instead, she proposes that now is the time to ensure that the needs of society's most vulnerable children are acknowledged and met.
