I have been feeling intensely restless lately. There is something happening within me, and I know I am not alone. We are not like any other people since time began, as we are those alive at the end of the church age. We have the whole picture written in the word and know exactly where we are in time. We are living witnesses as we watch prophecy unfolding at rapid speed. Yet, there is a spiritual deadness that could be felt in the atmosphere over the entire nation, though there are many believers living in it. Yet in other persecuted nations the Believers are all potent, on fire, and fearless. It feels like we are living in the "fatted calf" nation getting ready for the slaughter. The truth is, this nation is going to the slaughter while the entire church at large is in a deep sleep. Nothing seems to phase them. They put more stock in politics to the extent they will march, scream, fight and wage war for it. But there are some that are known by God scattered all over the world. They are the faithful "living stones" that are in hard pressed areas of the world including our nation.   

The common denominator is they have a potency in prayer because they "have chosen the thing that is good." Like Moses, "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible." The visible church is asleep, but there is the real body of Christ that is wide awake, alive, and ready for action. They are waxing bolder and stronger, as they "see the day approaching." What this world is fearing, they are not fearing because they are fearless and well trained. Their hearts are beating hard in them for the Lord. They are "called, chosen and faithful" and Jesus knows who they are.   There is something far greater that is wrong than politics and economics, or a bankrupt dollar. There is no way we can turn this nation around now. There is a time coming very soon when armies and governments are not going to work at all anymore. We are always trying to bail God out through elected officials, instead of us looking to God to bail us out through Jesus Christ. Bottom line, this nation is going down like a sinking ship. What God did in the past with great men and women of God, I fully believe HE WILL do the same kind of powerful exploits in our generation fit for this last time.  But only through those who actually believe He will, and in those who have chosen to "endure as seeing Him who is invisible."
