Episode Title:
Stress Isn't Something We Have... It's Something We Do
A quote recently stopped me in my tracks:
"Stress isn't something we have. It's something we do."
At first, I resisted it.
Because life contains real challenges, responsibilities and uncertainty.
But the more I sat with it, the more I began to see something that has changed the way I approach life, business and even my own thoughts.
In this episode, I share a personal story about helping my 94-year-old father through a major life transition, how I began to recognise stress as a subconscious habit rather than simply a reaction to circumstances, and how fear can sometimes be a signal that we've drifted out of alignment.
We also explore:
✨ Growing up around scarcity and how childhood environments shape our beliefs
✨ Why peace isn't waiting on the other side of the next result
✨ The difference between investing from desperation versus expansion
✨ How introspection can reveal the hidden patterns driving our choices
✨ A simple question that helps me move from fear back into faith
This isn't about pretending life is easy.
It's about recognising that we may have more choice in how we respond than we realise.
- Stress can become a habitual way of being
- Solving external problems doesn't automatically create internal peace
- Fear can be a signal that we're out of alignment
- Awareness creates choice
- Peace isn't something we find later — it's something we practise now
"Maybe peace isn't waiting for us after everything gets fixed. Maybe peace is something we can choose and practise now."
Everything is working out for me.
Everything is always working out for me.
