Growing up in Croydon, Alexa didn't really know anyone working in the creative industries, she was interested in fashion and would stay up late at night researching music producers, but didn't really know how to turn her passions into an actual job. After changing courses at university, Alexa launched Wave Magazine and started creating her own opportunities. Having worked for Atlantic Records and Kyra TV, she's currently social editor at The Face, responsible for making the magazine's style and culture stories achieve maximum impact with a global audience.
