This week, we sat down with Tara Mohr, the author of Playing Big and the creator of the global Playing Big leadership program for women. Her book was named a "Best Book of the Year" by Apple's iBooks, her work has been featured everywhere from the New York Times to the Today Show to Harvard Business Review, and she's taught her program at Google and Starbucks. Tara studied English at Yale and got her MBA at Stanford, and she spent a lot of that time trying to find her purpose. She talks with us about why everything we do to feel ready isn't adding up to confidence, what your inner critic is trying to protect you from and why it's bad at it, the question to ask yourself instead of "am I good enough," and her not-so-straight path to publishing her critically acclaimed book.
