Even when we lose our faith, God remains faithful to be who He has promised to be. In Matthew 14, when Jesus walked to his disciples' boat on water, Peter asked to join Jesus on the waves. When Peter took his eyes from Jesus, his faith wavered, and he began to sink. Even though Peter's faith failed, Jesus' faithfulness did not. Jesus reached out to save Peter and did not let him drown. The same is true for us today — God will remain faithful, even when we do not.
