For a long time, I carried parts of my story with shame and fear. I wasn’t sure how to speak about what I’d lived through, or what people might think if I did.In this episode, I share a little more about who I am, how meeting Jesus changed the way I see my story, and why I created The FaithFull Table. I’m beginning to make room for the parts of my life I’ve been afraid to share. I won’t tell every detail today, but I hope this conversation reminds you that your story has a place at the table, too.
What happens when the life you’ve been living can no longer be the life you continue?
In this episode of The FaithFull Table, I sit down with Sierra, owner of Precision Cleaning Solutions LLC, for an honest conversation about addiction, recovery, faith, and rebuilding a life from the ground up.
Sierra shares parts of her journey through addiction and the people who loved her through it, as well as the realization that lasting change had to become a choice she was willing to make for herself.
We talk about what life looked like on the other side of recovery, how faith became part of her story, and how she eventually stepped into entrepreneurship by starting her own cleaning business.
Our conversation also explores something Sierra sees firsthand through her work: the connection between the spaces we live in and our mental well being. Sometimes caring for our environment can be one small way of creating room for peace, clarity, and a fresh start.
Sierra’s story reminds us that pruning can feel like loss while we’re in it, but removing what can no longer remain can make room for something entirely new to grow. 🌿
This is a conversation about recovery, resilience, surrender, faith, purpose, and the beauty of rebuilding.

Letting go is never easy. Sometimes God asks us to release people, plans, or even parts of our identity that we've held onto for years. In the moment, it can feel confusing and even painful, but what if He's making room for something greater?
In this episode, we talk about what it means to surrender, trust God in the waiting, and allow Him to fill the spaces we once tried to fill ourselves.
If you're in a season of change or feel like God is asking you to let go, I pray this conversation reminds you that He is always faithful and that making room for Him is always worth it.
In this episode of The FaithFull Table, we reflect on the book of Ezekiel and the deeper meaning behind seasons that feel slow, quiet, or stagnant. Through Ezekiel 48, I share how God began revealing to me that healing and restoration are often intentional, careful, and deeply rooted beneath the surface long before we see visible change outwardly. Together, we talk about trusting God in the waiting, learning not to force outcomes, and understanding how God rebuilds our lives with wisdom, peace, stability, and purpose after seasons of devastation. If you’ve been feeling discouraged by how long healing is taking, I pray this conversation reminds you that delay does not mean God is absent. Sometimes the slowest seasons are the very places where God is restoring the parts of us that matter most.
Main body of music and outro by David Jahn
In this episode of The FaithFull Table, I reflect on the deeper themes woven throughout Disney’s Tarzan and how watching my son Khalil fall in love with this story unexpectedly stirred something profound in me. Beneath the adventure and music is a story about identity, belonging, being chosen, and the human longing to know where we truly belong. Together, we explore how God places that desire within us from childhood and how He gently uses our stories, relationships, grief, culture, and experiences to draw us back to Him. If you’ve ever wrestled with questions of identity, love, or finding your place in the world, I pray this conversation reminds you that your longing for connection was never something to be ashamed of, it was God-given all along.
What if the moments we’re trying to move past… are the very places God is trying to meet us?
In this episode, I share a simple but meaningful moment during my son’s nap time that reminded me how easy it is to rush through what actually matters. Through the story of Martha and the weight of everyday responsibilities, I reflect on learning to slow down and recognize God’s presence in the middle of it all.
Not in perfection.
Not in stillness.
But right here, as we are.
In this episode, I share a part of my journey that I’m still walking through—learning how to rest when I’ve been used to staying ready.
For a long time, I made choices that made it easier to leave… whether that was in my environment, my relationships, or even my mindset. It gave me a sense of control to know I could go before things changed for me.
But what happens when God is actually inviting you to stay?
We talk about the subtle ways restlessness shows up, how it can follow you into different areas of your life, and what it looks like to begin receiving peace without questioning if it will last.
If you’ve ever felt unsettled even in something good, this episode is for you.
This is an invitation to slow down, to become aware, and to learn how to rest in what God has already placed in your hands.
Reflective Questions
1. Where in my life do I feel unsettled, even though something good is present?
2. Have I been keeping myself in a position where I can leave instead of allowing myself to stay?
3. What would it look like for me to fully receive peace in this season without questioning it?
What makes a house truly feel like home?
In this episode of The FaithFull Table, I reflect on the memories that shaped my understanding of home. I share childhood afternoons spent at my teta’s house (grandmother’s house) where the smell of cardamom and Turkish coffee filled the air while music played softly in the background.
After losing both of my parents as a teenager, the meaning of home shifted in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. Through motherhood and creating a home for my son, I have begun to see how God gently restores and heals parts of our hearts through the places we build and the memories we carry.
Join me as I share reflections on nostalgia, faith, family, and the kind of atmosphere we choose to create within our homes.
Sometimes the homes we build for our children also become the places where God restores something within us.
Questions to sit with as you listen:
1. What memories from your childhood shaped your understanding of home?
2. What kind of atmosphere do you hope people feel when they walk into your home?
3. Have you ever noticed God restoring something in your life through the home you are building or the season you are in?
