A very special Christmas update from Fandom-Based Life

After a bit of a break, we're back with the shiniest fandom of all - Browncoats! These fans of Joss Whedon's short lived but much beloved series Firefly mean business. Even now, 15 years after the show aired, these fans are still as passionate as ever.

It's time to dive into the podcast that started our podcast-based life! Murderinos are fans of the My Favorite Murder true crime podcast with Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff, and they're an incredible bunch! Listen in as Allison and Sarah discuss what birthed their love of true crime, and how a comedy murder podcast has inspired such a supportive and strong community.

We're back with more Sherlockian fun! In the second part of our exploration, we discuss how the stars and creators of BBC's Sherlock feel about the fandom, and hear from some Sherlockians about how the consulting detective has impacted their lives.
