God reveals Himself in the bible as a gentle, forgiving Father who is closely involved in every detail of our lives. We need to know God as our Father in order to have a balanced view of Him. It is most important to learn to know who God really is, not who you think He is. "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him." (‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ NIV)
