The Fear of Being Lost (John 8:12–20)

Fear often causes us to feel lost, but Jesus answers with His light. In John 8, He declares that He is the light of the world, and His light gives us direction to follow, deliverance to hold onto, and a destination to rest in. When we believe that we are fully accepted and fully loved by Christ, His perfect love drives out fear and His light guides us into life.
