Welcome to the second episode of The Fearless Female podcast! Today's episode is all about knowing what you really want in this life, what you like doing, what lights you up - away from the shoulds. What would you do with all your time if no one was looking, if you didn't tell anyone what you were doing with your time, and if it was all about you? I am sharing my journey through this reflection, one that came up in a journaling exercise on a day when I had no plans and I could do anything I wanted. Except instead of living it up, I was stuck and overwhelmed unable to really connect to what I wanted to do - this version of me, who I am right now.

I hope this episode starts a journey back to connecting to yourself, your heart and soul, and you as the main character of your story. Below are the 24 journal prompts I talk about in this episode. I am sharing them with you to enjoy too!

Journal Prompts from episode:

1. What does living life to the fullest look and feel like?
2. What 3 goals do I have for myself this month?
3. What is my summer bucket list? (Things I want to do because it will bring me happiness, not because I should want to do them!)
4. What places would I like to visit this summer?
5. What do I find fun? Not what the trends are, not what other people think is fun, not what you should find fun, but what do you find fun?
6. Summer is about life. Everything is in bloom. If your life is fully nurtured, nourished, in bloom, full of sunshine and happiness, what does it look like?
7. If I could sign up for classes today, what classes would I take? What do I want to learn? What would feel fun and freeing to do consistently?
8. Who am I when I am fully in bloom, giving off sunshine whenever someone meets me, at my lightest, most vibrant self?
9. How much playtime do I currently have in my life? How can I carve out more and make it a priority? What am I afraid would happen if I did more of what I loved and made time for me and what I love doing?
10. What am I curious about? What do I want to learn more of? What does living life I want to discover?
11. What did I love doing as a kid? What did I have most fun playing with? What could I spend hours doing? What did I want to do more of as a kid? And Why did I stop doing those things? What was I afraid of? Why did I feel I couldn't do them anymore?
12. How will having more fun, being playful, taking time away from work add to my life experience? How will it help my writing? How will it help me grow?
13. How can I take more time to relax away from screens? How can I enjoy nature more and quiet?
14. What is zapping my unhappiness? What do I need to release that is in the way of more space in my life, my time, and my energy?
15. There are 5 months left in 2026, what do I want my life to look like December 31, 2026?
16. Today, create a new vision board for your life. Make sure to add more play and things that light you up into your vision for your life.
17. What is overwhelming you mentally right now? What do you need to do to create more mental space?
18. Where do you need more clarity in your life?
19. How has my life changed for the better? How am I living the life I've dreamed of living or how much closer am I to having what I desire? How have I grown and changed to be better ready for what I really want?
20. What have my life lessons taught me up until now? What have I learned about myself?
21. What are memories you have of the past that make you feel warm and fuzzy about who you were? When were you the happiest, having the most fun, and doing things you still think about today? What did you love about them?
22. What is keeping you from doing more of what you love? What fears are you holding onto? What needs to shift and happen for you to create more space for the life you want?
23. What are you ready to STOP doing? What is staling your energy, joy, integrity, happiness, confidence that needs to be released? What plans can you make to release them?
24. Looking at your life right now, what do you love most about it? What feels like YOU? What lights you up? Consider your home, your activities, your relationships, careers, and hobbies.
