From Deep Darkness to a New Light with Kiki Hurwitt
A mental health/wellness advocate, mid-life athlete (53), and NASM Certified Behavior Change Coach, Kiki Hurwitt lives her life practicing kindness first, the same type of kindness that she experienced during some of the darkest times in her life.
At the age of 28, Kiki suffered the most devastating loss of her life. After suffering a miscarriage with twin babies, Kiki became a widow just eight weeks later when her husband suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 29.
Completely devastated and now a single parent to a beautiful 2-year-old son, Kiki did all that she could to not collapse into the depths of depression.
Then, eighteen months later, she contracted a life-threatening illness that slipped her into a coma that caused her to lose her right lung and be away from her son for seven months.
In early 2021, after being diagnosed as prediabetic with high cholesterol and other poor health markers, Kiki knew something needed to change and fast.
So, she embarked on a transformational health journey that took her deep within, exploring dark corners that had been long ignored and needed healing.
Her journey resulted in a physical weight loss of 47 pounds and a newfound confidence at a body-building gym, doing deadlifts and pull-ups at 53!
Most importantly, she found her voice again and a belief that it is the small wins that solidify true transformation from the inside out.
Now remarried to an amazing man who was heaven-sent, Kiki spends her days being Momma Bear to her wonderful family while helping others recognize their unlimited potential as they learn to celebrate their progress and show up as their true authentic selves like she has been doing.
Listen in as Kiki, and I sit down to discuss how unfathomable loss and unimaginable heartbreak led her on a journey of profound personal transformation that gave her the courage to share her voice again to help others and how it has all led her to discover her path to FEARLESS HAPPYNESS!
