On this final Sunday of the Liturgical Year, we honor Jesus as our King. The end of the year should remind us of the end of time, but especially of the end of OUR time, that is, our lives, here on this earth. When that time comes (and it will come for us all), we will have honored Jesus as King here, so that we can honor Him in heaven for all eternity?
Note that Scripture readings are from the Lectionary for Mass for Use in the Dioceses of the United States of America, second typical edition, Copyright Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, Inc., used with permission.
