for the few who don't already know, Cole is an award-winning journalist, the bestselling author of The Skin We're In and a fearless advocate for racialized communities. he was also recently awarded an Honourary Doctorate of Laws from Ontario Tech University in recognition of his leadership as one of Canada’s strongest voices in anti-Black racism and for his work as an advocate, activist, and journalist.
