Diane shares how discovering Midjourney during a difficult period in her life helped reconnect her with imagination, purpose, and a creative identity she had been suppressing for years. What began as experimentation with images became filmmaking, music videos, international recognition, and an entirely new chapter in her life and career.
They talk about Diane’s journey from web design and music production into AI filmmaking; the personal loss behind her award-winning video What Do I Know; and the extraordinary year that followed, including winning Project Odyssey, speaking at TEDAI in Vienna, appearing on the BBC, and taking her work to audiences around the world.
At the heart of the conversation is the importance of representation: women seeing women create, Black artists reclaiming and telling their own stories, and creators from historically excluded communities gaining access to tools that allow them to make visible what has always existed inside their imaginations.
Diane also reflects on the difference between being a creator and becoming a content machine, why she protects her artistic freedom from the demands of social media, and how AI has allowed her to transform lived experience, emotion, memory, philosophy, and cultural heritage into work that makes people feel.

TURHAN TROY CAYLAKHi, I'm Turhan, but most know me as "Troy" Caylak, an actor, writer, and Web3 enthusiast with a passion for storytelling and building communities. You might recognize me from HBO's Barry, where I had the chance to work alongside a talented cast and earn two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. My craft was honed at the Shakespeare Theatre and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where I developed my deep love for acting and writing.In 2015, I ventured into Bitcoin, and by 2020, I was fully immersed in Web3, trading crypto and collecting art. DAVE KEBODave Kebo is a storyteller, filmmaker, and creative director based in Los Angeles. Dave started his career as a screenwriter and film director, eventually finding his way to crypto and NFTs. The idea of owning the underlying IP of the crypto asset you hold was game-changing, and in 2021 he started building original content for Web3 projects on Ethereum (Gutter Cat Gang), and later on Bitcoin (Pizza Ninjas). Dave is the founder of Ordinauts, the first anime collection inscribed on Bitcoin, and is currently building out the story universe for the series.Twitter
