It's been a fun ride. But the time has come to say goodbye to the place that has been my podcast home for over seven years. Before that though, we have business to attend to. In this raw unedited podcast, Matt and myself go over our favorite films of the year (well, Matt does as I tag along), and then go over what we felt were our best retros this year.And then, for reasons we get into on the show, we say goodbye. To preview our thoughts, it has been a fun wild ride to get to this point. When I joined this site, I was a one time homeless guy trying to make my mark, eventually landing prestige jobs in coveted Hollywood studios, as well as producing my very own film and finally landing in a nice place in life. But time does weird things, and it is in the course of these years that both Matt and myself have changed, and Binge has changed along with it. I want to say thank you to Matt for tagging along and going from a college kid bitterly writing about films to a guy who has become a parent and turned into a hell of a friend. As well as continuing his bitter film reviews on our airwaves. I would also like to thank my best friend since high school Adam Bunch, who no matter what was going on in his life always lent his voice to our voice overs, and made his own presence known without dominating our time on the air. I would remiss if I didn't thank Law and Alyx, who took a chance by bringing me into their Binge family at a time when I thought I was done talking about what I love the most, which is film. I just hope I was up to your standards, as my podcast life can be attributed to you two inspiring me to do so.Most of all, I would like to thank you, the Binge listeners. Words do not describe the feelings your messages, both good and bad, have done to drive us to keep going. And yes, we ARE continuing the show, because after all, there are still major retros to do! So stand by as we get that going. We may be gone from Binge, but we will not be gone from podcasting. And do you know why we want to continue?
