There are deep misunderstandings in the religious world today over the implications of the finished work of Christ.  Does the fact that Jesus finished the work of redemption on the cross mean that there is nothing left for humans to do?  Are we adding to the perfect work of Christ by obeying the gospel?  The scriptures teach that Christ’s work is complete, but that sinners must hear the gospel, believe, repent, and baptized to receive salvation.
