This weeks episode of The Big Chat is the first of many collab episodes with Hannah Gee and Dan Culmer from Word Up! Each Friday at the end of the month, Hannah and Dan will be hosting The Big Chat and bringing in a variety of inspiring guests that have an important message to share. In this episode, we learn how Dan started Word Up 10 years ago after going to a similar slam poetry event in Brighton and seeing the potential it would have in Tunbridge Wells. Hannah and Dan have been friends for years and after encouragement from Dan, Hannah recently stepped back into the world of poetry and is passionate about spreading the message of Word Up.

Word Up takes place on the first Wednesday of every month and is £5 entry at The Forum. To coincide with International Women’s Day, this months will take place on 8th March.
