Text: Luke 2:8-14

The angelic proclamation to the shepherds is a declaration of joy, both personal and universal. Jesus’ birth is good news for all people, breaking through the darkness with the light of salvation. Advent teaches us that joy is not circumstantial but rooted in the reality of God’s presence and work in our lives. This joy compels us to worship and share the good news.
