I find the jagged bog and then ruins within. I fight some very tough guardians and there upgrade version which are somehow less tough despite their best efforts to toughen themselves mid fight. 

I then see the throne, then I site on it which was possibly a very stupid dangerous thing to do, but I got a lot of XP so I can put that aside in locked room next to any doubts I have about that cube.
