Stress, worry and anxiety. These three enemies of joy seem to characterize today’s culture. It’s a problem even for believers. But is this how God called us to live? The Christmas story reminds us that God desires for us to have peace, real peace, His peace. In other words, Jesus has made a way for us to find rest for our weary souls in a world full of burden. But how? In this message we will discuss two lies we must overcome in order to discover the counter-cultural secret to peace.  

Matthew 11:28-30: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
