The Five Stages of Child Training


These stages build on each other toward a goal.

The main goal is to get wisdom.

You can have knowledge, but if you don’t have morality and wisdom, your life will end in utter failure.

The Five Stages:

  1. Obedience - teaching children that there is a punishment for doing something wrong.
  2. Knowledge - teaching children about God’s world.
  3. Understanding - children understanding the truth behind the knowledge.
  4. The Fear of the Lord - children realizing that there is a Creator God who they can have a relationship with and who is the top authority they need to submit to.
