Main Idea: Genesis Chapter 7 describes a worldwide flood instituted by God and how He chose a righteous man named Noah to build an Ark to save his family along with examples of all the animals. In Genesis 8 the floodwaters recede and as Noah’s Ark settles onto Mount Ararat we see a hope and a promise of a new beginning for mankind.
