This is the end of season 1 at TheFlowage podcast. Why does Jesus's resurrection matter to US? The first answer one usually thinks of is to "go to heaven". But this episode goes MUCH deeper on why Jesus's resurrection matter for us in THIS LIFE—NOW, while we are here on earth waiting for Jesus's return. And that reason is for FREEDOM! To live life free from garbage, brokenness, sin, and self-centeredness. The 1st half of the episode talk about the promise of everlasting life at the resurrection,. and 2nd half of this episode explains why Jesus's resurrection empowers up to live free NOW, in this life.

This two part series starts with how the whole Christian faith lives or dies on one event—the resurrection of Jesus. Did it happen? If it did, why does it matter? For part 1, this episode asks, "What does it mean for Jesus Himself that He was raised from the dead?A bonus section at the end addresses the questions surrounding the fact and necessity(?) of His ascension as well.

Is there any BIBLICAL support to the wishful idea that unbelievers might be able to come to Jesus after they die? Is there any possibility of post-mortem repentance? This episode explores this idea and reviews some common scriptures used to affirm a "Unihopeful" view.

Revelation 20-22: The final episode walking through the entire book of Revelation in search for a more Jesus-looking picture of Hell. This episode is broken down into 5 parts. 1) the binding and release of Satan and the 1000 year reign, 2) the battle the ensues after Satan is released, 3) the white throne of judgement and the book of life, 4) the lake of fire, 5) the potential hope lies beyond the lake of fire in chapters 21-22.

Revelation 19: John continues telling the story of God's great, final battle now including Jesus's 2nd coming. Using the story and metaphors from Ezekeil 38-39 as prophetic fulfillment, he shows evil being lured in only for it to collapse upon itself and bring self-defeat and utter humiliation. It's another scene if non-violent divine judgement.

This episode explores Gog and Magog, the birds of the air consuming flesh, and John's own original judgement metaphor of the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 17-18: These chapters are an exposé of the fall of Babylon. Working from the understanding that Babylon is "un-Jesus-looking systems and structures", we see how God brings Babylon to and end via non-violent means and the ensuing mourning and grief the comes to nations as a result.

This episode explores the early formation of the whole concept around "Babylon", it's development through the Old Testament, and what John means when he resurrects that ancient term in Revelation.

Revelation 15-16: Vinnie first pulls out some vivid, nonviolent imagery from chapter 15. Then walks through the 7 bowls in chapter 16 showing how they are NOT bowls of sovereign, vindictive punishments that God is pour out at the end times, but the revelation of God's final and full "letting go" of evil so that evil runs is course and backfires upon itself.

Revelation 14:1-20— This chapter is loaded with what is considered to be supportive text for the traditional view of hell. It also contains what is probably the most misunderstood passage of the Book of Revelation, verses 9-11. With a little help from the slaughtered Lamb, the Old Testament, and even the book of Enoch, Vinnie will turn this chapter on it's head and present an alternative view that challenges the traditional view that hell is eternal conscience torment.
