I'm on my Drake flow: I'm upset.

Here's what I'm ranting about: keeping sane in the midst of a pandemic is a real struggle/where is our stimulus check?/congress was on a vacay as millions of Americans are out here starving/ Republicans suck musty balls/ we need to stop normalizing this mess.

This week really upset me and my homegirls. Here's what I'm ranting about: August Alsina x Jada Pinkett Smith/ Pop Smoke's posthumous debut album/ Kanye West running for President/Trump's incompetence/Attorney General Daniel Cameron throwing an engagement party but he can't arrest the officers who killed Breonna Taylor.

You know, everything in life is a lesson and blessing.  I’m fresh from my trip to Los Angeles where I covered LA Fashion Week and I spoke to the youth congregation at Noel Jones’ City of Refuge church on living a purpose driven life.

My trip didn’t come without trials. When you do kingdom work, the devil will try to stop you.  Your goal is to work hard and keep going regardless.  What I am constantly learning:

1. Do you already

2. Keep the jokers out of the deck

3. Make Jesus your homeboy

I just got a unicorn tattoo because I’m special. I’m rare, unique and I am fearfully and wonderfully made. So many of us are too scared to be who God is calling us to be. Too many of us scared to be who we are. We have to realize who we are. We are fabulous. I live by Albert Einstein’s quote, “The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.”

We all have a unicorn in us. We can be whoever whoever we want to be.
