“Welcome to the Food Minded Fellow Podcast. I’m your host Gavin Smith. I’m a chef and writer based on Martha’s Vineyard, a 96 square mile island off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Although the Island is famous for other things, Martha’s Vineyard is home to a rich, agrarian food culture. Join me as I get to know more about this food ecosystem through the stories of the people behind it. In my first season I visit farmers, a dairy, a sea salt producer, and even a lunch lady who is bringing local food to our school system.”
