Stan Meadows called from Starkville, Ms, from the kitchen of Taste, the new restaurant recently opened by his friend Michael McIntosh, who was sucking the flavor from watermelon and putting it into vodka in a sous vide as we spoke. We talked tamales again, as Stan embarks on the Tamale Trail up the Delta.
