One of the things you need to understand is there are two types of people.
The Fool and the Wiseman.
A fool will receive and reject correction.
Why?
Because they're fools.
They know they're fools and don't see the need to change the way they do things.
But the wise man receives correction as direction.
My friend and pastor Keith Craft of Elevate Life Church always says, "A fool will reject correction, but a wise man will see correction as direction."

I do the same for our employees.
Our contractors.
Our clients.
I don't want them to do anything that will compromise their ability to succeed in life.
That's my job as a Dad, a leader, and a business owner.
The fool will blow off a correction.
But a wise man will see it as direction.
The difference between the two?
One is seeking improvement.
The other is okay with being okay.
Which are you?
Think about this the next time offers you the gift of correction.
It's a clear path to your true direction.
