As we continue making our way through the glorious pages of Luke’s Gospel we pay a visit to chapter three. It’s here that we read about John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ. You gotta love what the Lord did through this guy, who wasn’t afraid to speak about repentance, he was quick to point people to Jesus and not himself, and the foundation of his preaching was the Word. That’s the sort of preaching and ministry we need to embrace today! Be encouraged in that direction as we have a look at some of the highlights of John the Baptist’s ministry.
