As Jews around the world confront antisemitism, this season explores how Jews lived among their Arab neighbors until they no longer safely could.

MANYA: Others sought new paths, only to discover the homes they left behind did not always welcome them back. When countries turned hostile toward Jews, many sought refuge in Israel, to their ancestral homeland.

HEN: And they took whatever they had left. And they got on a boat coming to Israel. To a place where they are going to be protected.
