At Christmas, there are many songs about Mary and the baby Jesus.  We hear often about the angels and the shepherds.  Even the wise men have a song.  But somehow Joseph is left in the shadows.  Joseph was an amazing man of faith and character. He had to be. He became the stepfather to the Son of God.
