THREE TRUTHS ABOUT CHARACTER

1. Character Is Demonstrated By Actions

“Even children are known by the way they act, whether their conduct is pure, and whether it is right.” Proverbs 20:11 (NLT)

2. Character Determines Success And Advancement

“My master trusts me with everything… how could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.” Genesis 39:9 (NIV)

3. Character Is A Decision

“Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.” Romans 13:14 (NIV)

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control…” Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

Build Character Through…

A) A Devotional Journal

• Prayer

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

• The Word of God

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NLT)

• Worship (Focus on God)

B) Fasting

Fasting Does Three Things

• It Free Us From Sin

• It Frees Us From Spiritual Strongholds

• It Frees Us From Burdens (Yokes)

C) Fellowship

D) Generosity

E) Service

F) Faith

G) Pain
