You've got a job and a process that works, but at some point you ask what takes it to the next level and how you actually improve with AI without making a mess. Here's the rule I use: treat AI like a substitute for anything you can easily undo. Client email is the example. Generate a preview, check it, then send. Split undo work from commit work. We built our onboarding emails from one script and kept iterating. Start with one workflow and tune it before you automate the commit.

The last five, six, maybe seven clients we've worked with have all tried to build some of their software with AI first. These aren't software developers. And honestly, I think that's great.
A CPA I talked to recently built his own lead magnet in Claude Code, then emailed me asking how to put it on the internet. If you can build a working version in an evening, what's left? Really, kind of everything.
Knowing what to build and why. Making it hold up once people use it. And knowing when to hand it off to a software developer.
