In this chapter of Revelation Jesus begins to open the seals on the scroll, and six of them out of seven are removed. The first four result in the four horses of the apocalypse riding out and bringing with them conquest, war, poverty and plague. Sounds terrible. What does it all mean, and most importantly, who is that rider on the white horse? Is that Jesus? This is chapter six of a twenty-two video series released one per week each Friday. For a book labelled 'revelation' it has historically been one of the least understood books in the Bible. This series aims over the course of 22 weeks to bring revelation to Revelation. In this video, we pick up from where we left with the scroll in chapter 5. Jesus begins opening the seals one by one. Upon the opening of each seal, John observes something happening. But what are the 4 horsemen? Is the rider on the white horse Jesus? Is this chapter describing a Biblical apocalypse? We try to answer these questions and more.
