Country Music Association (CMA) Artist and Recording Acadamy (Grammy) Member Lauren Davidson is a New York City/New Jersey-based singer-songwriter with a unique and powerful voice. Lauren has created her own sound and memorable songs in a style that she calls "Urban Country" as a nod to her city roots and unconventional stories in the Country/Pop/Rock genre. Small in stature, but big on inner strength, Lauren has been described as “an early Patsy Cline or Linda Ronstadt; with that, I can do this myself attitude" (Audio Fuzz Magazine) and “the most underrated female artist” (Digital Journal). And do it herself she certainly has, as her extensive credits playing shows and concerts with many of country music's biggest acts can attest to.
One of Lauren’s greatest joys is being on stage and performing and collaborating with other musicians. She comes from a musical family, singing and performing with her father since childhood and later writing songs together. She continues to co-write with him today in addition to working with other established and up-and-coming writers on the country music scene.
Lauren is inspired by artists of many different genres including Contemporary Country, Rock, and Pop. She burst onto the country music scene and has become a popular and loved name where she has carved out a niche as an established singer-songwriter. Lauren frequently travels to Nashville and immerses herself in the music city scene as both a performing artist and a songwriter.
This Country artist consistently gives fans a polished and high-energy show and plays live extensively in top-tier venues, both locally in NYC/NJ and around the country. Lauren has shared the stage with such notable Country Music Acts such as Old Dominion, LOCASH, Carly Pearce, Justin Moore and veterans Rodney Adkins and The Marshall Tucker Band, among many others.
Lauren’s latest release, "Soaking Up Every Second" was released to critical acclaim earlier this year with features on Taste of Country, Popdust, Whiskey Riff & Spotify's New Music Nashville to name a few. Lauren has been described as "one of the most underrated female artists" (Digital Journal). She also kicked off the year singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the Sold Out 2019 PBR tour.
