 The Freestyle Club catches up with Willie Valentin to talk Artistik, Contracts and yes, The Planet Rock Beat!  Get Willie's take on the use of The Planet Rock Beat in today's Freestyle productions. Willie's provides his insight on  why producers would use it, reasons might include anything from the Artist requesting that particular beat or it just comes down as a  quick and easy beat for a producer to use.



We move on from The Planet Rock Beat to Mic Mac Records passing on notable Freestyle artists, how  Artistik Records was created and how it got its name. Willie goes in deep on how the sausage is made when it comes to creating a label and getting a distrubtion deal. 







Take a seat and lean in as Willie describes the details of his first contract with Mic Mac Records. Willie explains the nitty-gritty of what signing a contract really meant, all the pros and cons that he took away from that experience. Later he explains the motivation factors that went into going into business for himself and how his perspectives on being on the other side of the deals. 



Finally, talk about the Artistik Roster, the possibilities of an Artistik reunion and about what's coming up next for Willie Valentin and Artistik Records for 2019.
