The Frequency That Remembers

Listen Later

Luna, trapped in Station KFEX after the automated broadcast, follows Violet's map to the transmitter tower through a static-choked corridor. Inside, she finds the body of a man in a chair, still wearing headphones, with a tape loop running through his skull. The tower's logbook reveals that Project Echo began in 1962 with a single sentence: 'The dead are easier to record.' Luna discovers that the tower is not just transmitting—it is listening, and it has been recording every broadcast since the station's inception. As she tries to leave, the door seals, and the wall behind her begins to play a tape of her own voice reading a script she has never written. The episode ends with Luna realizing that the tower itself is alive, and that the final broadcast is meant to replace her with something else.
