Jesus made it clear that the religious leaders were His enemies. “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” Christians are also engaged in a war, “. . . against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” And, as in any battle, you need to know where the front line is.
